When there is a peripheral object approaching within a predetermined distance, a warning is displayed by superimposing at a position corresponding to the object on the peripheral image, and the region to be extracted from the peripheral image is set to a region closer to the vehicle when the distance between the course change point and the vehicle falls below a threshold than when the distance exceeds the threshold.",
