Disclosed herein is an apparatus for removing lithium-ion battery gas, which is used to remove gas generated during an activation process of a lithium-ion battery. The apparatus includes an ultrasonic vibration unit configured to apply ultrasonic waves to the lithium-ion battery to remove gas within the battery, and a control unit configured to control an operation of the ultrasonic vibration unit.
