A vehicle location prompt method includes: obtaining, based on network quality of a communication network between a vehicle associated with the terminal device and the terminal device, at least one type of parking data that matches the network quality from the vehicle, where the parking data at least indicates a location of the vehicle in a parking lot, different parking data has different transmission priorities, and the transmission priority is associated with the network quality; and displaying a first interface in response to a received view operation of a user for the location of the vehicle, where the first interface includes information expressed by the parking data obtained by the terminal device. In this way, after the user parks the vehicle in the parking lot, the user can view, on the terminal device used by the user, the parking data of the vehicle in the parking lot.
