Method for defining a navigation system

The method involves performing simulation calculation of performance criteria through performance functions for different pairs of parameters and different trajectories of a carrier. The pairs of parameters are researched for allowing a navigation system (1) to meet target performance criteria, where each performance function is defined by a determined linear combination of kinematic state vector components and a statistical synthesis on time ranges along a specific trajectory.
