Pressure measuring devices (22, 23) determine initial-differential pressure, and a pump regulating valve (30) i.e. proportional valve, adjusts conveying stream of the pump and controls the initial-differential pressure to the reference-differential pressure. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling traction force and limiting transmission-slip for a front drive of a road finisher.",
