The spiral cable drive (7) comprises a spiral cable (17) having multiple windings, which is connected with a drive unit (23) by mechanical operative connection for movement of the device. A drive converter is provided, which converts a rotational driving movement of the drive unit into a translational movement of the spiral cable. The drive converter has a spindle nut for receiving the rotational driving movement.
