Method for monitoring an energy transmission line, noise suppression by repeated data transmission

The method involves detecting a measurement data at a measuring point of a power transmission line by using a measuring device (9,10). The detected measurement data is coupled on the power transmission line. The measurement data is transferred to a data acquisition device (13) over the power transmission line, where the measurement data includes measured quantities of the power transmission line. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a measuring device for use in a system to monitor a power transmission line; and (2) a data acquisition device for use in a system to monitor a power transmission line.
