Seat assembly for an automobile

The assembly has an infant seat (33) arranged on a front seat (1) and fixed on a rear seat (3) of a motor vehicle. Three fasteners are located at a right-side, a left-side and at a rear-side of a base (29) of the rear seat, respectively. A backrest (7) of the front seat has an opening (27) allowing passage of a strap of a locking element (41) of the infant seat to connect the locking element with the third fastener. The front seat is moved back so as to be closer to the rear seat.
