"textContent": "The method for producing a motor vehicle component (1) with a hot-formed and press-hardened component made of high-strength steel, comprises partially heat-treating the motor vehicle component in areas, which are initially heated at a heating temperature of 700-800[deg] C, holding the heating temperature for a holding time, and cooling the heating temperature in one phase. The partial heat-treatment is carried out on joining flanges of the component and on a recess of the component. The motor vehicle component is made of components by coupling. The method for producing a motor vehicle component (1) with a hot-formed and press-hardened component made of high-strength steel, comprises partially heat-treating the motor vehicle component in areas, which are initially heated at a heating temperature of 700-800[deg] C, holding the heating temperature for a holding time, and cooling the heating temperature in one phase. The partial heat-treatment is carried out on joining flanges of the component and on a recess of the component. The motor vehicle component is made of components by coupling and the heat-treatment is carried out on the coupling points (10). The coupling is produced by thermal joining. The heating is carried out in a time period of 5 seconds. The holding time is carried out in a time period of 5 seconds. The cooling step is carried out in two phases. The cooling of the first phase is continuously carried out longer in relation to the cooling time of the second phase. The second phase is carried out in a time period of up to 60 seconds. The component is cooled by the first phase of the cooling at 500-700[deg] C. The heating temperature is reached by inductive heating and by infrared heating. An independent claim is included for a car body component.",
