According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a separator comprising: a porous substrate; an electrode adhesive layer provided on one surface of the porous substrate and including first inorganic particles and a first binder that mutually binds at least a part of the first inorganic particles to each other; and a heat-resistant layer provided on the other surface of the porous substrate and including second inorganic particles and a second binder that mutually binds at least a part of the second inorganic particles to each other, wherein the content of the first binder in the electrode adhesive layer is from 3 to 20 wt %. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing the separator.
