Device for burning off propellants or explosive substances

The device (1) has a pressure tight barrier (7) for separating two exothermically reacting substances (5, 6), where one of the substances lies below a release temperature of the device in a liquid aggregate state, and the other substance lies at the release temperature in a solid aggregate state. The barrier allows contact between the substances when the release temperature is reached, where the barrier is made of material and has a flow opening (14) closed by another material, where melting temperature of the materials is equal the release temperature.
