The trainset comprises a plurality of power generating means, wherein the plurality of power generating means are connected via a plurality of power feeding means. The trainset further comprises a first selector for outputting power to any one of the plurality of power feeding means or a number of arbitrary power feeding means. An inverter means constituting the traction system further comprises a second selector capable of arbitrarily selecting a power system for receiving the power from the plurality of power feeding means.
