The vehicle (1) has a seat provided with an assigned device and a restraint device e.g. airbag (4) or seat belt tightener. The assigned device automatically displays acoustic and/or optical information with respect to occupancy and/or classification of a driver, and controls operation of the restraint device depending on signal transmission, where the acoustic information is displayed as voice message. The assigned device is designed for connection or disconnection of the restraint device and adjusting an operating parameter of the restraint device.
