WINDOW ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE

A window assembly for a vehicle having a body panel is disclosed. The window assembly comprises at least one panel supported on the body panel of the vehicle and comprising a peripheral edge. The window assembly further comprises a garnish supported on the body panel. The garnish comprises an outer surface, an inner surface opposite to the outer surface, a peripheral surface between the inner surface and the outer surface, and at least one engagement structure extending from the inner surface in a direction opposite to the outer surface. The garnish is disposed adjacent to the at least one panel, such that the garnish and the at least one panel lie in a same plane and together define a gap therebetween. The window assembly further comprises an encapsulation disposed at least partially between the at least one panel and the garnish to cover the gap therebetween.
