The installation comprises of path sections (5,15), in which each path section has a supply line (7,17) to which a mid-frequency current can be feed from a respective feed. Each feed is associated with a respective path section, and includes a control circuit (1,11). The first one of the control circuits transmits a clock signal to the other control circuit for synchronizing the respective feeds. An independent claim is included for the contactless and synchronous power distribution method.
