CHILD SAFETY SEAT

A child safety seat includes a base; a rotatable seat above the base and having a rotation threshold angle; and a misuse prevention mechanism on the base and the rotatable seat and having a locked state and a released state. When the misuse prevention mechanism is in the locked state, the misuse prevention mechanism prevents the rotatable seat from rotating past the rotation threshold angle in a first direction and allows the rotatable seat to rotate past the rotation threshold angle in a second direction opposite to the first direction. When the misuse prevention mechanism is in the released state, the misuse prevention mechanism allows the rotatable seat to rotate past the rotation threshold angle in both the first direction and the second direction.
