A sealing element for a motor vehicle has at least one first bearing region via which the sealing element can be arranged on a front flap of the motor vehicle, which is pivotable between a closed position and at least one open position, and at least one second bearing region via which the sealing element can be arranged at least indirectly on a structural element of the motor vehicle which is configured separately from the front flap. In the closed position, the front flap can be supported at least indirectly on the structural element via the sealing element by way of the bearing regions. A folded edge of the front flap, which is arranged at a front end of the front flap in the vehicle longitudinal direction, can be surrounded at least in some regions by the first bearing region.
