Method and system for improving the drivability of a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a method for improving the drivability of a motor vehicle, comprising the steps of: continuously detecting the air pressure in the vehicle's tyres; comparing said air pressure with a predetermined pressure value for the respective tyres; delivering a warning when said tyre pressure is below said predetermined pressure value in any of the tyres, comprising the step of using an existing bellows configuration of an air suspension system of the vehicle to reduce the load upon at least the tyre in which the air pressure is below said predetermined pressure value. The invention relates also to a system for improving the drivability of a motor vehicle, and to a motor vehicle comprising such a system.
