The method involves supplying electricity from station suppliers (L1) to a station operator (B1). A data packet comprises identification number (ID1) and serial number (ID2) over a communication connection (K4) at a customer-billing server (D2) in which the storage and the consumption unit is registered. The roaming agreement is provided between the station operator and other station suppliers (L2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for executing the location-independent power intake or supply method; and (2) a data carrier with a computer program.
