A portion of the photovoltaic modules is short-circuited via a short-circuit switch, where the short-circuit switch is activated when a predefined voltage value across the lines is exceeded. One of the parallel-connected lines is equipped with the short-circuit switch, and the other parallel-connected line is removed from a parallel circuit by a disconnect switch. Ends of the lines are connected to an input (9) of an inverter (11).",
