Electric power supply for an electric vehicle brake
DRIVE
September 14, 2011
The device has a supply generator (34) producing electricity and comprising rotor coils (31-33) that are fastened to an axle (30) driven during movement of a vehicle. The supply generator has stator-sided generator coils (35-37) attached to current inputs (39, 40) of a current-driven brake. An exciter generator includes rotor coils (27-29) that are fastened to the axle and includes stator-sided energizing windings (24, 25) subjectable with drive current (Ia). The rotor coils of the supply and exciter generators are electrically connected to each other in a slip ring contact-free manner.
