Tip state monitoring

The method involves increasing the hydraulic pressure in order to move a telescopic cylinder (18) around a dump body (16) from a vehicle traction standby position in a tilting position. The tilting position is deviated for discharging the loaded material. The pressure is determined and is effective in the telescopic cylinder. The actual tilt angle areas or the actual tilt angle (alpha) are determined according to the determined pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a tip lorry structure with a hydraulic pump; and (2) a tipper vehicle with a vehicle frame.
