Electrochemical cell with positive container

The present invention relates to an electrochemical cell including an electrode assembly having a lithium negative electrode and a positive electrode comprising iron disulfide. An end cap closes the open end of the container, wherein said end cap includes a terminal cover that has a negative polarity, and the container has a positive polarity.
