"textContent": "In a multi-stage sequential supercharger system for a multi-cylinder engine, a first supercharger unit (55) having a first turbine housing (64) and a first compressor housing (65), and a second supercharger unit (56) having a second turbine housing (74) and a second compressor housing (75) are placed adjacent to each other in a mutually parallel relationship. The first turbine housing is located on a same side of the first compressor housing as the second turbine housing is located with respect to the second compressor housing, and the first turbine housing is axially offset with respect to the second turbine housing toward the first compressor housing. A main passage communicates the first turbine housing with a merge passage (42) of an exhaust manifold (20), and a connecting passage communicates the first and second turbine housings with each other. The main passage and connecting passage are defined by a main passage member (81) and a connecting passage member (82) which are integrally cast with the first turbine housing and second turbine housing. Thereby, the overall profile of the system can be minimized, and the required passages can be established with the minimum use of connecting members such as flanges.",
