Device for connecting a suspension element to a commercial vehicle axle

The vehicle has an axle body (2) supported at an undercarriage frame over spring elements e.g. plate springs. Each spring element is connected with a clamping bridge in a travel direction, where the clamping bridge has two side pieces. The side pieces lie at front and back of the body, respectively. The side pieces are connected with each other over a bar that is arranged at a distance from a top face of the body. Each side piece is fixed to a fixation projection (8) that is fastened to a longitudinal side of the body. A counter bearing is arranged at opposite sides of the body by the bar.
