Bypass duct with guide vane ring in a turbofan engine

The bypass duct has support struts, which are formed as guide vanes-support struts (3) with bigger thickness and chord length than the guide vanes (2) in an aligned aerodynamic form. A flow channel (4) existing between a suction side (7) of the guide vane-support strut and a guide vane (2.1) adjacent to the suction side is extended by a guide vane modifying in the geometry against other guide vanes depending on the respective formation of the guide vane-support strut for reducing the peak pressures of a circumferential pressure field.
