Device for handling a large-capacity work bag of the type known as a Big Bag

The device (1) has a trailer (3) including a big bag lifting unit (7) e.g. crane, that is motorized for lifting a big bag (2) and unloading the bag on a big bag receiving unit (6) and vice versa. The receiving unit is movable with respect to a chassis (4) to pass the receiving unit from a retracted position to a receiving position and vice versa. The trailer has lateral maintaining unit that is constituted of reinforcing bars (43) and a closing unit (50) i.e. opening frame, to encircle the big bag, while loading and laterally maintaining the big bag during its transport.
