On-board system for assessing flight strategies on board an aircraft

The system (1) has interface units (9) providing a determined strategy defined by specific values taken by flight parameters to a reference point. The interface units select and set a value of a parameter from the flight parameters for generating and providing an envelope of values of the flight parameters to explore a set of possible strategies. The interface units select and set a value of another parameter greater than the value of the former parameter for generating and providing an determined strategy. An independent claim is also included for a method for assessing flight strategies in relation with a flight plan on board aircraft.
