The bicycle mount includes a trough section (20), a collar section (30) disposed adjacent to the trough section (20), a neck section (40) disposed adjacent to the collar section (30), opposite the trough section (20), and a channel section (50) disposed adjacent to the neck section (40), opposite the collar section (30). The trough section (20) is adapted to receive a crossbar (B) of a bicycle, the collar section (30) is adapted to receive a support arm (SA) of a bicycle carrier, and the channel section (50) is adapted to receive a tube member of the bicycle. The neck section (40) facilitates forward and back motion of the channel section (50) while restricting side to side movement of the channel section (50).",
