System for using the waste heat of a combustion engine with anti-freeze device

The waste heat recovery device has a waste heat cycle, in which a working fluid circulates. The working fluid is converted in mechanical work by the waste heat of an internal combustion engine or the exhaust heat. A freeze protection unit (4) is provided in the waste heat cycle, where the freeze protection unit prevents the conditional damage in the waste heat cycle through the freezing of the working fluid.
