Parallel switch assembly

The arrangement (1) has parallel connected switches (R1, R2) e.g. relays, arranged in a power supply line (3) between an energy source (5) and a load (7) e.g. audio- and/or navigation system. The arrangement exhibits a stabilizing operation condition and a normal operation condition in which switching states of the switches are opposite. The switches exhibit a delayed switching sequence during an opening process and/or during a closing process of a switching cycle and change a switching sequence of the switches after one or more switching cycles. An independent claim is also included for a method for switching a parallel switch arrangement.
