The arrangement has a common boost converter including a common switching element that is formed by two power switches of a common shift part (14) connected between two direct current (DC) power sources (10a, 10b). The power switches are switched between two chokes (12a, 12b) and two diodes (16a, 16b), respectively. An intermediate circuit capacitor (18) is formed by two capacitors connected in series. The capacitors are connected between the power switches. The power sources are connected with the boost converter. An independent claim is also included for an inverter circuit comprising an inverter for converting direct voltage into an alternating voltage by an intermediate circuit capacitor.
