Anchorage systems and devices

Source
The illustrated device has an elongate body (1) with a fixed, non-slidable downward protrusion (3) at its front end, an actuating lever (2) at its rear end, and sets of slidable securing feet (4,5). The slidable feet are movable relative to the protrusion (3) by the actuating lever (2), operating via an actuating mechanism. The mechanism includes an elongate drive rod (45) connecting the actuating lever (2) to a middle set (4) or front set of the slidable feet which have an anti-rattle mechanism to grip the track, such as by means of longitudinally-inclined upper surfaces (43) thereon. In use of the device, the actuating lever (2) is easily accessible, being at the rear end, but operates to provide an anti-rattle engagement with the track (9) at an intermediate point along the device, spaced from the rear end, where the prevention of rattling is particularly needed.
