The system comprises a sensor array disposed on aircraft floor below the aircraft seat configured to detect an object fallen into the gap, a control cover configured to slide over seat adjustment controls of the aircraft seat, a vibrating guide surface positioned in an area beneath the aircraft seat configured to facilitate movement of the fallen object out of the gap, and a processing unit configured to receive a signal from the sensor array indicating detection of the object fallen in the gap, activate the control cover to slide over the seat adjustment controls in response to the signal, and deactivate the control cover to retract back from the seat adjustment controls when the fallen object moves out of the gap via the vibrating guide surface.",
