When switching display of a monitor from a first or second video image to a third video image, a processor displays the first or second video image delayed by a frame memory on the monitor, then displays a dummy image on the monitor, and then displays the third video image not delayed by the frame memory on the monitor. When switching display of the monitor from the first video image to the second video image, the processor displays the first video image delayed by the frame memory on the monitor and then displays the second video image delayed by the frame memory on the monitor without displaying the dummy image on the monitor.
