The VCSF manages component signals obtained from a plurality of vehicle services of the vehicle that include components of the vehicle and are representative of functions of the components. The VCSF obtains a component signal from a vehicle service of the plurality of vehicle services and processes the component signal into composite signal. The VCSF processes the component signal based on a mapping of the vehicle services to vehicle properties maintained by the VHAL layer. The VCSF provides the composite signal to an application executed by the processing circuitry.",
