Vehicle Equipped with Safety System and Method of Responding to an Unauthorized Possession of a Vehicle

A method of, and safety system directed to a vehicle with the safety system associated therewith, the safety system configured generate at least one image of a person in/on the vehicle and upon the detection of a dangerous event, to at least one of: a) generate at least one form of detectable signal and b) generate an electronic signal. The system is configured so that at least one of the at least one form of detectable signal, the electronic signal, and the at least one image is generated after a time delay following the dangerous event and the input to the safety system.
