The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a method for preparing same, and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. More specifically, the negative electrode active material comprises one selected from LiTiOand a mixture in which LiTiOand carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are mixed in a weight ratio of 8:2 to 9:1. The negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising the above-described components has an R-3structure, and provided is a lithium secondary battery which exhibits high capacity and excellent lifespan characteristics, and in particular, exhibits high capacity during high-rate charging and discharging.
