A battery rack includes a battery rack having a rack inlet and at least one rack outlet. A battery rack can further include a ventilation duct positioned on the battery rack, the ventilation duct having an inlet nozzle, an outlet nozzle. The battery rack can further include wherein the ventilation duct positioned such that the inlet nozzle substantially aligns with the rack inlet and the outlet nozzle substantially aligns with the rack outlet.
