A reforming system for an electrode assembly and a method for operating the same may be provided, wherein the reforming system includes a reforming apparatus comprising a reform-pin for reforming a separator of the electrode assembly, an imaging device for capturing an image of a region of the electrode assembly, and a controller for controlling the reforming apparatus to perform the reforming of the separator based on the image captured by the imaging device and specification of the reform-pin.
