The arrangement has a control unit provided with a controller for controlling and/or regulating a basic supply unit. The basic supply unit is provided with an input part for supplying electric energy to a basic supply module (B). An output part supplies electric energy to power mains via the basic supply unit. A control module and the basic supply module are provided with an interface for connecting the control module and the basic supply module to a communication bus.
