The inventive method is characterized in that the operating software is provided with an installation-test mode which can be specifically selected by the person installing the car-kit, during the installation-test mode the operation software addresses some or each of the communication items (3, 4) with an installation-test signal designed to verify the correct installation of the car-kit with reference to the specific communication item (3, 4), and, optionally, the operation software also addresses the person installing the car-kit by way of a communication item (3, 4) with an installation-test information.",
