The invention relates to a method, navigation device, a system, and a computer program product for using a navigation application, wherein a communication module is assigned to the navigation device, wherein the navigation application requires the definition of at least one destination location, wherein the method comprises the following steps: -- the communication module receiving a message comprising an input information related to the destination location, and -- the navigation application using the input information for route guidance from the current location of the navigation device to the destination location.
