MOUNTING DEVICE FOR WIRE HARNESS FOR SLIDE DOOR

Source
A mounting device for a wire harness for a slide door prevents, by using a low cost and simple structure, a redundant part of the wire harness from sagging at an intermediate position of opening and closing motion of the slide door. A corrugated tube is mounted over a wire harness connected between a vehicle body and a slide door. A holding plate making contact with the corrugated tube, which covers the wire harness, is mounted in that region of wire harness which bends upward and moves following opening and closing motion of the slide door. The base end of the holding plate is rotatably supported by a support shaft through a coiled spring. The coiled spring urges the holding plate upward to prevent sagging of a redundant part of the wire harness bending upward.
