The method for the production of a composite material web having a sandwich-like construction from an upper- and lower side foam plastic web laminated with a knitted web, comprises laminating the foam plastic web with a first knitted web so that the foam plastic web laminated with the first knitted web is equipped with profiles passing transverse to its extension plane and is subsequently laminated with a second knitted web. The second knitted web is laminated by a flame lamination from upper side to the lower side with the first knitted web to the foam plastic web. The method for the production of a composite material web having a sandwich-like construction from an upper- and lower side foam plastic web laminated with a knitted web, comprises laminating the foam plastic web with a first knitted web so that the foam plastic web laminated with the first knitted web is equipped with profiles passing transverse to its extension plane and is subsequently laminated with a second knitted web. The second knitted web is laminated by a flame lamination from upper side to the lower side with the first knitted web to the foam plastic web. The first knitted web is a smooth charmeuse from polyester or polyamide, and the second knitted web is circular velours from polyester. A soft flexible, foamed polyurethane ether is used as materials. An independent claim is included for a composite material web.
