The structure has a brake control unit (8) generating braking setpoint values in response to braking order. Each of set of electro-mechanical actuator controllers (3a, 3b) has an inverter (4) to supply electrical power to electro-mechanical brake actuators (2) in response to the values. An emergency brake power and control unit (10) has another inverter (11) to supply electrical power to some of the actuators in response to the braking order. A protection unit i.e. fuse, channels the supplied power toward the actuators while preventing power from being diverted toward the structure.
