The sun gear (36) is rotatable by a shaft (46). The ring gear (38) is secured to a ring gear shaft (34). Each of the plurality of star gears (40) is rotatably mounted in a star carrier and meshes with the sun gear (36) and the ring gear (38). The coupling system comprises a sun gear flexible coupling, a carrier flexible coupling (74) and a deflection limiter (76). The sun gear flexible coupling connects the sun gear (36) to the shaft (46). The carrier flexible coupling (74) connects the carrier to a non-rotating mechanical ground (42). The deflection limiter (76) is connected to the star carrier to limit excessive radial and circumferential displacement of the star gear train (30).",
