The method involves assimilating a set of pre-defined devices e.g. spatially distributed inverters (1) and data loggers (5), for a limited period of time. A network identification is generated and is persistently stored in each of the pre-defined devices during assimilation. Each of the pre-defined devices is exclusively connected to the other pre-defined device, in which the network identifications originating during assimilation are stored. The network identification is defined based on an individual device code of the pre-defined devices and/or the period of the time of assimilation. An independent claim is also included for a wireless interface for a predefined device of a wireless communication network.
