A fitting (5) for a child's safety-harness (8) having two shoulder straps (80). Each shoulder strap (80) includes a chest portion arranged to retain a child when the harness is in a closed configuration. The fitting comprises: two arm-loops, each attachable to a respective shoulder strap, where in normal use each arm- loop passes behind a shoulder and under an arm of the child, thereby impeding removal of the shoulder strap by the child passing a hand behind the chest portion of the strap when the harness is in the closed configuration. The fitting is adapted so as not to impede removal of the child from the harness, when the harness is in an open configuration.
