Device for tensioning a ratchet tensioner of tie-down straps

The device (1) has a retention element (3) cooperating with a clamping lever of a ratchet tensioner of a lashing belt. An extension element (2) i.e. torque wrench (5), is torque-limitingly designed in such a manner that a lever (8) exerting an attraction force extends in an axial direction of the extension element. The extension element has a pivotal point immediately after a connection element (6) i.e. plug-in welding piece, that is connected with the retention element. The retention element is rigidly connected with the connection element.
